Awarded to a female artist of African and Caribbean heritage. Artists must enter The Susan Angoy Artist Of African And Caribbean Heritage and can be any medium but digital.
- Artists have to write a statement reflecting on how their work can serve as a vehicle for change and hope in a world facing uncertainty, environmental challenges, and intolerance
- The winner will also receive a place on the Tim May Mentoring Programme, comprising a minimum of three sessions with Sharon Walters (valued at £1,000)
£1,000 Art Supply Bundle + Residency
For artists 25 years and under.
- £1,000 Custom Art Supply Bundle — curated from the Daler-Rowney family of brands including Canson, Arches, Strathmore, Princeton, Lyra, LUKAS, St Cuthberts, and DAS
- Week-Long Artist's Residency — a dedicated creative retreat to support the winner's artistic development

Open to all artists outside the UK.
- If chosen for the final 25, artists can send their artwork to be displayed for the final exhibition at their own costs
- Alternatively, Women in Art Prize will produce a print of the artwork and frame it for the 2026 exhibition
Residency
Open to female artists aged 40+, offering up to one month free residency in 2027 or 2028 for a single person (or same gender couple equally engaged in a united project) at the Trust's cottage in Clifford Chambers, a Warwickshire village near Stratford-upon-Avon.

Open only to female artists who are residents of Mexico and surrounding areas. Presented in partnership with Synonym Gallery, culminating in Mexico City Art Week 2027.

Celebrates an artist whose work demonstrates exceptional originality, technical ability, and long-term collecting potential. Rather than recognising only current success, the award looks ahead — identifying artists whose practice has the strength, consistency, and vision to become increasingly significant within the contemporary art market.
