We are proud to announce that this year's overall winner will receive a fully immersive week-long painting retreat in Mirleft, South Morocco — guided by the remarkable artist Rosso Emerald Crimson. Seven days of guided practice, one-to-one tuition, and genuine creative renewal, in a place designed to make great art feel inevitable.
Guided by Rosso Emerald Crimson
Rosso Emerald Crimson is a painter who has spent years developing a singular method — one that teaches artists to move fluidly between realism and abstraction, between precision and intuition. It is a method that has transformed the practice of hundreds of artists, and the Women in Art Prize winner will experience it first-hand.
Over the week you will explore realist figure and portrait painting, compositional design, abstract grounds using mixed media and gold leaf, colour harmony, and the art of gesture and atmosphere. But more than any technique, you will gain something harder to teach: the confidence to find and trust your own visual language.
Your Home for the Week
You will be staying in stunning ocean-front villas in Mirleft — panoramic terraces, an infinity pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and sunlit studios with open views of the sea. Every detail has been considered so that artists can simply arrive, exhale, and create. Private chefs prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the week. Airport transfers from Agadir are included. Everything is taken care of.
