Zifan Sun
Zifan Sun is a London-based artist and photographer whose work explores memory, human connections, and the sense of belonging. She has lived across China, London and beyond, and her background in architecture from Scotland informs her practice's navigation of space, light, and cultural identity. Across photography, painting and mixed media, she repeatedly returns to states of partial visibility — images that hover between appearance and disappearance, depicting abstracted flowers, glitching architecture and ethereal figures. Her work has been presented at the London Design Festival and recognised by the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour, where her painting 'As We Submerge' won the Dawson Murray Award for innovative use of water-based media at the 145th Open Annual Exhibition.
