We are thrilled to announce the Women in Art Prize Raffle 2026 — your chance to win a signed, numbered polymer gravure print by Dame Tracey Emin, valued at £6,000, while directly supporting women artists across the UK.
The Prize
The first prize is Further Back To You (2014) — a polymer gravure on Somerset paper by Dame Tracey Emin. Measuring 41.5 cm × 50.5 cm, from an edition of 150, the print is signed, numbered and dated by the artist. Its current market value is £6,000.
About Dame Tracey Emin
Dame Tracey Emin CBE RA is one of the most significant and fearlessly original artists of her generation. Born in Croydon in 1963 and raised in Margate, she studied printmaking at Maidstone Art College before completing an MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art in 1989. She rose to international prominence as one of the Young British Artists — the generation that defined British contemporary art in the 1990s — and was nominated for the Turner Prize in 1999 for My Bed, a work that remains one of the most discussed and debated pieces in recent art history.
Her practice spans drawing, painting, sculpture, film, photography, neon text, and sewn appliqué. At its core is a body of work that is deeply autobiographical — personal, unflinching, and profoundly human. Emin does not separate life from art; she has always insisted that the two are the same thing. That honesty has earned her one of the most devoted followings of any living artist.
She was elected Royal Academician in 2016 and appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire. In recent years she has spoken openly about her diagnosis of bladder cancer and continued to work through illness with characteristic defiance — producing some of the most powerful paintings of her career. Her work is held in major collections worldwide, including Tate, the British Museum, and the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
Further Back To You reflects a quieter, more lyrical side of Emin's practice — intimate where some of her work is confrontational, tender where it might otherwise sear. As a polymer gravure printed on Somerset paper, it carries the warmth and texture of a hand-pulled print, signed and numbered by the artist herself. It is an exceptional object.
