The Prize
The Women in Art Prize celebrates excellence across all visual art disciplines: painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking, illustration, mixed media, and digital art. Open to female artists in the UK and internationally, it is one of the most prestigious platforms for emerging female talent in the contemporary art world.
What’s at Stake
Winners receive cash prizes of up to £1,000 per category, exhibition opportunities at leading London venues including The Art Academy, Hampstead School of Art, Square Feet Gallery, and Zebra One Gallery, plus press features, mentorship, and residency opportunities.
The Judges
Our 2025 jury includes experts from across the art world — curators, critics, gallerists, and artists — each bringing their own rigorous perspective to the selection process. Full judge profiles are available on our Judges page.
The Ceremony
Winners were announced at a ceremony at the British Library Piggot Theatre in December 2025 — an electric evening celebrating the best of women’s art today.
