Bianca Raffaella: Solo Exhibition at The Art Academy London

As the Overall Winner of the 8th Women in Art Prize 2025, Bianca Raffaella was awarded a solo exhibition at The Art Academy London — and the result is extraordinary.
The exhibition showcases monoprint portraits from her two award-winning suites: Just Out of Reach (2025) and She Cannot Fade (2025). Created by pressing copper plates with her fingertips, the works are at once intimate and elusive — "Some of the prints are hardly there," Raffaella has said, evoking the shifting nature of her vision as a registered blind artist.
The exhibition was featured in a BBC World Service In the Studio profile, broadcast in January 2026, bringing Raffaella's remarkable practice to an international audience.
Bianca was the first registered blind student to graduate from Kingston University with a First-Class Honours degree in Fine Arts (2016). She is represented by Flowers Gallery.
