Capturing the Uncapturable: An Evening with Ami Bouhassane on the Legacy of Lee Miller

Date: 14 April 2026, 7:00 PM (doors 6:30 PM)
Venue: Burgh House, Hampstead, London
Tickets: £17

Join us for a special evening exploring the life and legacy of Lee Miller — one of the most pioneering photographers of the 20th century — through the personal insights of her granddaughter, Ami Bouhassane.

Ami Bouhassane is Co-Director of Farleys House & Gallery Ltd, the home Lee Miller shared with Surrealist artist Roland Penrose for decades. Drawing on her family's archival knowledge and intimate relationship with Miller's work, Ami will guide us through the stories, images, and ideas that defined an artist whose courage and vision continue to inspire.

This talk is part of our ongoing programme of events championing women's contributions to art history.
