Verónica Mar (b. 1979, Granada) is a Spanish sculptor, artist and creative director based in Madrid. She holds a BA in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona (2005) and a BA in Interior Design from Eina School (2004). Her work is not about representing what we see, but revealing what we feel — what vibrates beneath the surface of form. Inspired by Kandinsky's idea of art as a spiritual act, she creates sculptures, paintings and design pieces that speak a silent language of energy, balance and inner presence, shaping steel, brass, aluminium and acrylic stone into ascending organic forms. Since 2014 she has exhibited at art fairs and galleries in London, Shanghai, Barcelona, Madrid, Miami and New York, including Rossana Orlandi (Milan), Les Ateliers Courbet (New York), Mint (London), and The Wolfsonian Museum (Miami). Her SOUL Sculpture bench (2011) and Autumn Leaf swing (2012) won international awards.
