Her Small Beginning
Sally Smoker (b. 2003) is a photographer based in Kent who holds a BA (Hons) in Photography with First Class Honours from Canterbury Christ Church University (2025) and a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Photography from MidKent College (2022). Her work is inspired by her family, personal experiences, and the stories behind found and archival objects. She experiments with adding tactile elements to her photography through mixed media. She was a finalist in the Peugeot Digital Artist of the Future Prize (2025) and the Women in Art Prize (2025), longlisted for the Form Photo Award, and featured in Art Maker Magazine and Docu Magazine.
