Nancy Singh

I Went Back To See Them

Nancy Singh is a London-based artist whose creative practice explores themes of gender, identity, race and culture. She relocated to England from North India for higher education, completing a BA in Fashion Communication from Middlesex University (2022) and a postgraduate degree in Media and Communication at Goldsmiths, University of London (2024). She works as an academic in addition to her studio practice. She received the Young Woman in Art Award at the Women in Art Prize for her ongoing project 'I Went Back To See Them'.
