Ella Kowalska

Call Me…

Ella Kowalska was born in Poland and later settled in France after living in the United States. She obtained a master's degree in art history and heritage from the Sorbonne and a master's degree in law from Paris South University in 2011. She is particularly sensitive to colours, materials, and sounds that give texture to the world, motivated by a desire to document contemporary times and pursue a form of augmented reality capable of telling modernity. In January 2024 she founded the collective 'Street is a woman', which now brings together over 200 women street photographers throughout France.
