The Milked Woman

Stephanie Lane is an interdisciplinary artist, filmmaker and animal rights activist who began working as a solo artist in 2023, having exited her career in a filmmaking duo to use her skills and passion for the greater good. She is the founder of SPECIESISM.WTF, a group using art as activism to create thought-provoking spaces where audiences question the ethics of exploiting females of any species. Her campaign 'The Milked Woman' includes photography exhibited in London and a performance art piece presented on four continents. She has been a resident at the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington.
