Yichu Li
YICHU 1.0
Yichu Li is an award-winning artist and filmmaker creating cinematic and audiovisual worlds. Working across moving image, audiovisual performance, and image-making, her practice investigates what happens to identity, agency, and desire when human consciousness enters technological systems. Grounded in techno-feminist thinking, Yichu constructs speculative worlds where bodies, machines, and myths continuously transform into one another. Her work challenges the boundaries between cinema, performance, and digital art, treating technology not simply as a tool but as a space for resistance, imagination, and becoming. Her work has been exhibited and performed internationally, including at The National Arts Club, Der Greif, Bury Art Museum & Sculpture Centre, Sónar+D, Kappa FuturFestival, and Tokyo Lights.
