Rebecca Hawkins is a British sculptor whose practice sits at the intersection of fine art, public memory and social impact. Working predominantly in bronze, she creates figurative sculptures that transform deeply personal and challenging narratives into works of beauty, remembrance and hope. Many of her sculptures are inspired by real individuals, communities or causes, and she aims to donate a proportion of the proceeds from her work to the organisations and initiatives that have inspired and informed the pieces. Her work explores themes of survival, loss, courage and human connection, often highlighting the strength of women living in challenging environments. Her public memorials and sculptures for social justice campaigns have been commissioned and installed internationally, including in London, The Hague, Berlin and Iraq.
