Quietly becoming

Michele Ashby is a pencil wielding artist working from her studio close to the Suffolk coast, having graduated with a BA Hons in Graphic Design from Kingston Polytechnic. She is a Council Member of the Pastel Society, a Master Pastellist and Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America, a Master Circle Member of IAPS (International Association of Pastel Societies), a Council Member of the Society of Women Artists, a Member of the Society of Graphic Fine Artists and a Unison Colour Pastels Associate Artist. She has earned many awards nationally and internationally, most recently winning third prize in the British Art Prize at the Oxo Gallery, London. She has exhibited at such venues as The National Arts Club, New York, the Butler Institute of American Art, Ohio, the Zhou B Art Center, Chicago, Illinois, as well as with several Art Societies at the Mall Galleries, London, and various galleries.
