Maisy Timney
Noise
Maisy Timney holds an MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art (2025– 2026) and a BA (Hons) in Fine Art, First Class, from Bath Spa University (2021– 2024). She also completed an Extended Diploma in Art and Design at Queen Mary’s College, Basingstoke (2018–2020). Based in London, Maisy’s painting practice explores the materiality of paint through colour, mark and form. Her work brings abstraction and figuration, depth and flatness, and gesture and structure into dialogue. Working entirely through analogue processes, she uses repetition, fragmentation and revision to explore the balance between energy and restraint, foregrounding paint as both material and subject.
