Becoming Whole

Gwenda Jones ARBSA is a British contemporary sculptor working predominantly in clay. Her figurative sculpture explores identity, vulnerability, agency and resilience. Winner of the Great Art Award at the New Emergence Art Prize 2026. Her work explores identity, resilience, diversity, and our relationship with the natural world through expressive ceramic sculpture. Alongside exhibiting, she shares her passion for clay through workshops, demonstrations, and community projects, including those supporting people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), using creativity to promote wellbeing, inclusion, and a sense of belonging.
